FRANKLIN HIGH SCHOOL'S LITERARY MAGAZINE

Submissions

Epiphany Literary Magazine is a safe space for students at Franklin High School to share their creativity. Submissions of various formats are welcome. This includes, but is not limited to, original poems, spoken word pieces, raps, songs, fiction, short stories, essays, non-fiction, plays, excerpts of novels, art, photography, videography, films of all kinds, and more.

How to Submit Work

You may submit your piece by sending it to pdimarco@franklinboe.org. When submitting your piece, please include a short bio about yourself. This should include your name, grade, hobbies, how long you have been writing, or even what medium you used in your work. If you have published work elsewhere, you may also include links to your previously published work.

Submission Policy

Submissions are now open! 

Please keep in mind that not all pieces will be posted immediately. After you have submitted your piece, it will be reviewed within two weeks and it may be returned with feedback, or turned down for various reasons. You are always allowed to resubmit once you have made changes.

You may submit no more than 4 pieces per marking period.

Submission Restrictions

Epiphany has the right to turn down any submissions due to levels of inappropriateness, profanity, or other reasons. 

Written Submission length:
Submissions may be no more than 3 pages types, double spaced, Times New Roman.

Multimedia and Video length:
Multimedia and video length may not exceed 15 minutes total.

Electronic Publication Permission

In order to be published online through Epiphany, you must receive written permission from your parent or guardian. 

Upon approval of your submission, we will send you a permission slip. If this is not returned within one week of your approval, you will not be published on Epiphany's website. You may also pick up a hard copy of this permission slip in the folder outside of C220. 

Alumni and Community Submissions

Epiphany readily accepts submissions from graduates of Franklin High School, as well as members of the Somerset community. In your bio, if you were an FHS graduate, please include the year you graduated, any college/ university/ graduate/ technical/ vocational/ etc. school you may have attended and your major/ focus there, your profession, and any other relevant information. Otherwise, follow the submission instructions below.
