Dreams
By Isabella C. You could train yourself To be able to dream Beyond your wildest imagination It could feel so real Feeling excitement and joy But not really seeing the reality Comes to life whatever is on your mind Even your worst fear could come in Letting you see what you really need Just a flash of the future in sleep A way to get away from world Trapped in a wonderland of tiredness For it comes with a gift and curse Remember it when you wake up Or let it be forgotten forever Many people want to follow their dreams Others just go and live in it The world behind your eyes Is just for you to seek During rapid eye motion People seem to be able to critique For my dreams are adventures That continue when the book is down They are there in the back of mind Waiting for you to be found The question from this truly is Are you just going to fall asleep And let your mind take control For your wishes and desires To become unfold Or make the dream real Using courage that won't conceal While being a leader after all About the Author: Isabella C. is a junior at Franklin High school and this is her second year in the Literary Magazine club.
